South West Plumbing was started over 35 years ago by Bill and Connie Buckingham out of their home with just one truck. Now South West has over 40 trucks that serve King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties*. The name South West Plumbing came from the notion that we began serving only the West Seattle area; but over time, and with the addition of the West Seattle Bridge, serving a wider area became easier.
The most effective way to update your bathroom is with a new bath tub or shower.
We have many options available, including fiberglass, cast iron, and steel tubs, as well as 2-, 3-, or 4-piece showers. We also have options for our customers with disabilities including wheelchair accessible showers and walk-in tubs.
Or, if it’s a simple clog or piping issue we can handle that too. Click here to read more about drain cleanings. Whatever your concern, ask your tech what he can do for you!
South West Plumbing does its best to make sure that the process of diagnosing and repairing your plumbing
fixture is as convenient as possible. When you make an appointment with us, you don’t have to worry about
timing-we’ll work around your schedule, with no extra charge for weekends or evenings.
Our plumbers are trained and licensed, and they bring all the supplies they need for their work.
To make sure you’re satisfied, we charge by the job, not the hour. The plumber we send will give
you a full-cost quote before starting to work on the problem. Additionally, we will make sure to leave your
house as clean as it was when we came.
We work on the following plumbing issues:
-Faucets and sinks
-Tubs and showers
-Water lines and piping
You can click on the links below to learn more about each issue.

Trenchless sewer replacement is an option that customers love.
There is minimal disruption to landscaping and a shortened job time, which are two of the biggest reasons why people opt for trenchless repair. Our high-tech pipe bursting equipment can install a new sewer line under retaining walls, patios, driveways and allow for replacement in places where conventional digging may be cumbersome or not possible at all. All we need are two relatively small holes on your property and we can usually wrap up the job in a few days.
If your damaged sewer line is caught soon enough and a few other criteria are met another trenchless option is pipe lining. A high strength polymer lining is pushed through your existing sewer pipe and cured in place. Within one day the new pipe is ready to use. This new pipe is as strong as a conventional sewer line and will provide years of worry free service.
